Thank you Park Friends!

The Park Foundation helps pick up where tax dollars leave off by raising private funds obtaining grants and creating partnerships to meet community needs for park land, facilities and services within the Fairfax County Park Authority.

Friends Groups serve the Park Authority by advocating for parks and by raising funds support for their designated park, facility or program. Each group is organized in a manner to best supports their targeted mission.

Sincere appreciation is extended to the members of the following organizations within the Fairfax County Park Authority's Federation of Friends.

Volunteer

Volunteers have shaped Fairfax County’s parks from their beginning and they play an ever-increasing role in its operations. Challenging and rewarding volunteer assignments exist in virtually every program area including nature centers, historic sites, gardens, neighborhood parks, athletic fields, recreation centers and golf courses.

Great parks need community involvement—they need people like you.
