• Visit one of our 416 parks and enjoy athletic fields, playgrounds, swimming pools, summer camps, lakes, RECenters, ice arenas, nature centers, golf courses, off-leash dog areas, tennis courts, picnic areas, historic sites, a trail network, and just playing outside with friends.

• Over 23,872 acres of land is protected by the Fairfax County Park Authority, but open space in the County is at a premium. As Fairfax County matures, our ability to preserve our green spaces becomes more challenging.
